Winter is back, which probably means there won’t be much gardening going on due to the cold weather. Don’t neglect your garden this winter and follow these tips to let your winter flowers flourish this season.
- Clean Garden Supplies – Cleaning your tools on a regular basis removes dirt and dust. Disinfect pots and seed trays with a mild detergent.
- Inspect Gardening Structures – Winter is the perfect time to repair or replace gates, sheds, fences, and other lawn and gardening structures.
- Keep weeds under control – As soon as the weather starts to warm up, weeds begin to sprout. Stay ahead of the weeds by pulling up sprouts as soon as they first appear.
